Kindergarten

Ages 5-6

Sessions focus on building strong foundational skills in phonics/reading, math and writing that your child needs to be able to build upon in the following years, as well as SEL skills to enhance growth mindset, independence and confidence.

Weekly themes

Each session consists of a quick review of past content and new weekly theme, so that your child has something new to anticipate with each coming week.

Supplies you own

You’ll be able to utilize or recycle supplies you already have at home to complete lesson activities. All you need is Zoom loaded on your computer, headphones, a whiteboard and quiet space.

Hands-on activities

Sessions are designed to keep your child engaged, through videos, games, academic content that is tailored to their interests,  and whiteboard work.

Collaborative Teamwork

I love checking in with parents about priorities for sessions according to their school performance or homework troubles. It helps to know what you and the teacher are seeing so I can provide targeted activities to result in improved performance.

“As a Kindergarten teacher, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Alyssa at Daniel Webster Elementary. Her dedication to little learners is remarkable. She creates a warm and nurturing environment where students feel valued and supported as they build a strong base of foundational skills for future academic success. She also fosters their social emotional development through promoting self-talk, growth mindset and emotional regulation to encourage a positive learning mindset.”
